NPI Engineer

JOB SUMMARY To provide process engineering support to manufacturing line and be responsible for quality, yield, cost, NPI, and cycle time of the products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Initiate process characterization for NPI projects and optimization programs to drive yield, quality, cost, and cycle time improvements. Own yield performance, quality issue investigation and lead the continuous improvement projects. - Coordination with NPI/NPD, manufacturing, equipment engineering teams and other support functions to execute business plans. - Assume leadership role in addressing major delivery issues. - Effectively communicate all relevant information to manufacturing personnel. - Ensure conformance of organization to processes and controls. - Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for the organization. - Coordination of training and advancement programs to ensure continuous personnel development within the organization. - Encourage workers to report violations of company labor, ethics and EHS policies. - Ensure identified labor, ethics and EHS issues are corrected in a timely manner. - Lead the process engineering team and stake holders to meet or exceed KPI targets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE - University degree, major in mechatronics, electrical, electronic engineering field of studying. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - 5 years’ experience working in semiconductor industry, assembly, and/or test engineering area. - Able to conduct DOE and use JMP or any statistical analysis software for data analysis. - Having experience in driving manufacturing continuous improvement projects (Project leader role). - Root cause analysis experience is a must. - Having a sense of urgency. - Sound knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, PFMEA, IATF16949, ISO14001, RBA.
