Responsibility:
1. Heading two teams – for R&D and QA
2. Ensure consistent quality of aquafeed nutrition through regular research and product trials
3. Update formulation regularly based on raw material prices
4. Work closely with production managers, and farm managers for optimal feed production and fish performance
5. Supporting technical and commercial team in providing information and services to customers.
6. Manage:
1. R&D formulation for Olam Agri aquafeed plant
2. QA of both raw materials and finished goods
3. Quality of feed

Qualifications:
• Masters in Veterinary Medicine / Animal Nutrition / Aquaculture or Equivalent (optional)
• Minimum 10 years experience in feed formulation and R&D – especially in aquafeed – for a reputed feed company in Vietnam
• Strong knowledge about the nutritional properties and quality specifications of different raw materials and feed additives used in the Aqua feed industry
• Strong track record on delivering high-quality feed at optimal cost
• Well experienced in use of least cost feed formulations software
• Have good commercial acumen
• Knowledgeable about the quality control system used in the animal feed industry (NIR, wet chemistry proximate analysis, process control, and in-market quality)
• Maintaining an expertise in nutritional trends, and keeping himself up-to date with the regulatory changes and feed safety.
• Able to conduct research and R&D trials in a safe, ethical and reliable manner
