OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
- Efficiently and effectively perform marketing supports to Transplants and Country Developments in BASF Vietnam
- Efficiently and effectively perform sales supports for Intermediate and Performance Chemicals in BASF Vietnam
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACTIVITIES
1/ Supports to Transplant (Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese/ Chinese, Thailand) Business Exploration (30%)
- Analyze import data against current sales history to identify new and potential business list and provide the shortlist to BUs.
- Update and monitor project pipeline in coordination with BUs.
- Support communication with operating divisions colleagues for effective coordination among cross BUs.
- Analyze import data/ investment data against current sales history to identify Transplant’s new business opportunities; Assist to update or create new customer’s profiles .
- Conduct initial information collection regarding market trend, competitors, products’ applications and service if required.
2/ Sale Support of Intermediate and Performance Chemicals (20%): Coordinate with Sales team to prepare quotation, contract, contract annex and contract liquidation.
- Co-ordinate with Sales team to maintain pricing.
- Create and update customer master data. Arrange sample receiving/ sending.
- Support to conduct customs data analysis, support to organize seminar/ customer events.
- Check customer’s credit status and timely update to Sales team and customers; Inform customers for overdue payment. Perform VAT invoice adjustment.
- Proactively follow up to obtain customers’ forecast and offtake plans.
- Consolidate demands/ orders; Coordinate with Customer Service to create Purchase orders/ orders release and combination; Work with Supply Chain for stock allocation.
- Monitor incoming shipment/delivery plans and coordinate with platform Supply Chain to ensure full delivery as planned.
3/ Customer Experience (10%)
- Collect, update and share calendars of business events, exhibitions, conferences to BUs to enhance customer experience with BASF.
- Translate contents, support to organize country NPS workshops (NPS – The voice of customers program).
- Support the implementation of eXCite project for country platform.
- Receive customer’s inquiries from different channels (e.g. QuickLead, BASF website, …), classify and tackle to relevant BUs.
4/ ASEAN & BVL Roadmap (15%)
- Update Vietnam macroeconomy to Country Development team as input for strategic decision-making and implementation.
- Collect information to support industries’ value-chain establishment/ analysis, focusing on potential market of BVL.
- Perform tasks assigned by the project team. (ASEAN)
- Analyze sales data and import data to establish potential watchlist and conduct analysis to evaluate the potentials of accounts.
- Map BUs’ solutions by industries for up-selling and explore cross-selling opportunities.
5/ Sustainability (15%)
- Support country specific project: Plastic Mechanical Recycling, Renewable raw materials project.
- Support for Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE) event
- Support the translation and logistic arrangements for internal and external sustainability projects and activities.
6/ Others (10%)
- Perform other duties (if assigned).
