On-Call Translator

Scope of work

The Translator / Service Provider will undertake the following tasks.

• Provide translations of A&E II documents, publications, and training materials in accordance with A&E II project standards.

• Provide editing services of A&E II documents, publications, and training materials that were internally translated to ensure they comply with A&E II project standards.

• Give clear and efficient interpretation services at A&E II training, workshops, and seminars not only in Vietnam but specific location consent by both parties.

Translation Services

• A&E II will contact the Translator/Service Provider individually for each assignment to request a quotation, which will be used to create a Service Order.

• The time frame for translations will be determined collaboratively between both Parties for each specific project.

• After reviewing the quotation, A&E II will issue a Service Order and provide the Translator/Service Provider with the final document(s) to be translated.

• The Service Order will clearly define the scope of work, delivery timelines, and designate an A&E II Project Manager for each assignment.

• Upon receipt of the materials to be translated, the Translator/Service Provider must send an email acknowledgment to the Project Manager or responsible person identified by A&E II.

• The Translator/Service Provider is responsible for ensuring that the translated text is comprehensive, including all sections such as credit pages, copyright notices, headers, footers, disclaimers, footnotes, endnotes, and back cover texts. The translation must maintain the integrity of the original text. If any translation is found to be misleading or alters the original text's meaning, the Translator/Service Provider will rectify it at no additional cost.

• The Translator/Service Provider should ensure that the translated material is presented clearly and, when applicable, maintains a similar presentation, format, and layout as the original text.

Payment services will be paid based on deliverables as agreed in the Service Order.
