Responsibilities for Express Delivery Division Manager:
• Spearhead the First Mile and Last Mile courier operations and be responsible for in line with the business plan and corporate objectives
• In charge of cost-efficient network expansion and operations work flow according to business directions and compliant to local authority policies for Malaysia and Singapore
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and achieve divisional goals
• Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time deliveries, delivery accuracy, customer satisfaction, and operational costs. Take corrective actions to address any performance issues
• Analyse performance metrics and financial data to make informed decisions and improvements
• Collaborate closely with mid mile team to improve operational efficiency
• Work closely with sales team and after-sales support team to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints
• Involve in cost control and budget planning, ensuring cost effectiveness and efficiency in resource utilization
• Oversee resource allocation including personnel, equipment and facilities to ensure optimal utilization
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Express Delivery team, encouraging innovation and efficiency enhancement
• Identify and implement relevant technologies to enhance operational processes
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in logistics
• Provide leadership and direction to the operations team
• Develop and implement crisis management plans for unforeseen challenges
• Identify and mitigate operational risk. Also, develop and implement contingency plan
Yêu cầu công việc
• Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Engineering / Business Administration or its equivalent
• 3 -7 years of managerial role experience in courier, logistics or supply chain industry
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and developing teams
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using MS Office and technology tools
