Operations Manager criteria:
Applicants must demonstrate good experience in operations management, and/or general management Positions, as well as the attributes and skills required to fulfil the role. An awareness of the overall running of a business is a must.
Operations management candidates is preferred if they hold degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Project Management or fields related to the Pharmaceutical sector. Candidates that have or are working towards a master of business administration (MBA) will be given Priority
Operations Managers Responsibilities:
• Implementing the BD or executive team’s Visions, Missions, Strategies
• Responsible for the implementation and follow up of Procedures, operations, budgets and strategies
• Responsible for managing Teams of people, including both the engagement, development and monitoring of these people
• Support on financial processes linked to the budgeting aspects, such as product margins, costs, budgeting, budgetary changes and forecasting. Participate in Project planning functions and growth strategies
• Work on client needs, in order to balance objectives and goals from both sides.
• Support the production planning process and coordination with All departments
• Ensure key performances indicators (KPIs) are in place and targets are met.
• Oversight key business processes of the organization make sure that all the company staff has everything they need to complete their duties
• Participating in meeting with HQ and Business Partners
• Managing stock control and inventory checks.
• Communicating Management Decisions in an orderly process to relevant parties.
• Documenting procedures for Monitoring third-party services and suppliers. Work on dedicated operations and outsourcing of services.
• Reviewing department workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met. Ensuring staff working processes. Implements performance Management policies and ensure staffs are happy and operating efficiently.
• Lead on changes and continuous improvements across the organization
• Participate in the reviewing and evaluation of capital expenditures. Setting up and negotiating contracts
• Responsible for operations that include creating and maintaining operational policies and procedures as well as strategies to drive growth productivity, profitability and improve partners relationships
• Responsible for operational contingency plans to be in place. Deal with external events
• Responsible for the implementation of Environment, Health and Safety procedures and promote a culture that places this as a company priority
• Support with the recruitment of Legal Advisors ensuring the smooth running and compliance on Legal processes, related to Commercial Agreements, Business strategies and investment plans
• Responsible for processes being followed and that teams and departments are facilitated collaboratively to continuously improve these processes.
