Operations - Merchandiser Manager

We are a leading furniture retailer in Europe. We seek a skilled Operation- Merchandiser Manager to lead and optimize operations, lead a team of merchandisers, work very close with our suppliers/factories as well as our HQ in Europe and strong focus on process efficiency.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Manage supplier/factory relations, work closely with them on pricing, products, production schedules, and all issues related to purchase orders.

• Manage the relation and issues with freight forwarders/ shippers and suppliers to schedule shipments and the related containers if required.

• Provide production schedule reports to our European team and Senior Management as needed.

• Team Management and Collaboration: As a team member, lead and manage the operations team to ensure synergy among team members and achieve business goals together.

• Problem solving and response: Able to quickly respond and solve unexpected problems and company needs, while promoting multi departmental cooperation to solve problems, to ensure the smooth operation of the process.

• Coordinate with the Quality Team to resolve quality and delivery issues.

• Responsible for researching, sourcing and qualifying new suppliers based on the company’s strategic direction and needs.

• Lead a team of merchandiser and coordinate with other teams in the company.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a merchandiser manager/coordinator, procurement or supply chain management.

• Fluent in English both writing and speaking is a MUST.

• Computer, Microsoft office proficiency especially Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
