Packaging Engineer (Working in Hai Phong)

• Develop and drive Logistic equipment strategy for SKD/CKD export center to ensuring best practice in effectiveness, cost, ergonomic field as well as regulatory requirements and regulation.

• Identify improvement opportunities for current/new models, lead and execute optimization studies in theassigned responsibility area, control of implementation.

• Close collaboration with another departments(Manufacturing/Purchasing/Quality etc) and suppliers in search of compromise solutions that take in account production requirements, quality and cost.

• Lead on handling of all Logistic Equipment issues in the assigned responsibility area.

• For new programs ensure all Logistic Equipment is approved and available for operations launch,so a flawless and a competitive start-up is achieved.

• Ensure that all programs meet the three measures of a successful project launch: on time, excellent quality and meeting and/or exceeding program financial targets.

• Work with Manufacturing partners and suppliers to develop and implement strategies to decrease non-value added activities within assigned responsibility area.

• Support plant ergonomic assessment activities related to material flow design and configuration

• 4 + years’ experience in high volume and complex manufacturing in role of Packaging engineer or Material Handling engineer, experience in automotive industry would be an advantage.

• Experienced in developing and implementing successful equipment solutions for Internal Manufacturing Logistics and/or process excellence. Strong ability to grasp and effectively use technical concepts and technical information.

• Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in multi-national relationships.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel is a must. AutoCAD is an advantage).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business at a minimum- Preferable to have Bachelors or advanced degrees in either supply chain, business or engineering.

• English level: pre-intermediate
