PE Engineer

Department: Production Engineering

Reports To: PE Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• This person is based at our Vietnam factory and responsible for production and technical issues during Mass Production. This role will primarily focus on improving and troubleshooting technical issues, as well as analyzing and improving existing processes for the whole Factory

Key Responsibilities:

• Own & drive pre-production and production phase to ensure product meets requirements.

• Study assembly methods and calculate cutting time for products.

• Investigate root cause, take countermeasures and improvement for reduction defects.

• Resolve problems using solutions that involve new techniques and technologies.

• Searching, selection and execution to invest machines, equipment, tooling, sub materials for manufacturing, Prepare necessary items for implemental new products.

• Improve the process for ensuring capacity and reducing cost.

• Prepare and update standard documents, manuals, check sheets for manufacturing section.

• Evaluates and resolves production issues, technical feasibility and design optimization.

• Coordinate with the quality control team to fix and improve product quality.

• Support for production in terms of job requests.

• Observe safety and housekeeping at workstation.

• Technical detail report making and periodically report to the supervisor.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Experience:

• At least 3 years’ working experience as a PE engineer.

• System processing experience - specifically, SAP.

• Experience of sewing machines is advantageous.

Skills/personal qualifications

• Good at English is Must, Chinese is advantageous.

• Good at MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good at Power Bi is advantageous.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Good interpersonal skills, ability to effectively manage relationships with other teams

• Reading & analyzing technical drawing interpretation, 3D modeling, engineering documents.

• Proactive, aggressive, high level of autonomy, well-organized and hardworking.

• Ability to prioritize and follow-up on issues with method and efficiency.

• Good communication and presentation skills

Education and Certifications:

• University degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Automation or related discipline
