Planning and Inventory Control Manager

1. Demand Planning
• Develop and execute comprehensive demand forecasting models to accurately predict customer demand patterns.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and other relevant departments to gather market insights and enhance demand forecasting accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze key demand drivers, adjusting forecasts as needed to align with business goals.
• Make Long-term and short-term plan based on Sales Forecast for Demand planning. Update sales forecast to SAP - MRP system.
2. Supply Planning
• Develop and implement supply plans that align with demand forecasts, optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
• Raise purchase requisition to order materials per requirements, including trading item.
• Collaborate with procurement to manage supplier relationships, lead times, and overall supply chain efficiency.
3. Production Planning
• Develop and implement production plans that balance capacity, resources, and demand requirements.
• Collaborate with the production team to monitor progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet production targets.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to make informed decisions regarding production schedules and capacity planning.
• Coordinate with Sales Department and Production Department on minimum stock and production lot size to avoid over stock holding.
4. Inventory Monitoring
• Implement and maintain inventory control policies and procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
• Conduct regular assessments of inventory levels, implementing corrective measures to address discrepancies or excess inventory.
• Utilize inventory management systems to track and analyze stock movements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with demand forecasts.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to align promotions and product launches with production and inventory capabilities, as well as define the solution for high aged inventory.
• Maintains required quantity of materials to optimize production and ensure adequate FGs stock for sales demand.
Coordinate with R&D, SCM and Production Department to improve inventory levels especially high aged/expired stock.
5. Develop-self and others.
• Develop team culture in collaboration and result orientation.
• Actively develop good understanding of the business requirements and ensure all challenges and obstacles are addressed.
• Improve productivity of planning team
• Coach and provide support for staff development
6. Reporting and Compliance
• Prepare and submit reports on time for KPIs report, Root cause Analysis and correct action.
• Lead S&OP meeting.
• Prepare annual budget based on Group’s direction and development of the year.
• Key user role: support SC to deploy and apply the upgrade and change request, train /share in term of system knowledge and issue to business partners.
• Take part in projects and other assignments if any.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by following the EHS policy and requirements and report any unsafe conditions and behavior, including near miss and incident to HSE department and SCM
Yêu cầu công việc
• Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Operations Management, General Supply Chain, Materials Management
• Experience
- Min 3-5 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing industry at the same job level, preferably in FDIs environment
• Specific knowledge hard & soft skills (Competencies)
Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Proven experience in demand planning, supply planning, and production planning, as well as inventory management.
- Understanding of trading process, retail business and purchasing process is an advantage.
- ERP Experience, SAP – MRP, material management (MM), production planning (PP) modules and Microsoft Excel.
