Plant, Equipment Maintenance & IT Engineer

The Plant & Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring all plant facilities, production, IT equipment, and utilities operate efficiently, reliably, and safely. This includes developing and executing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting breakdowns, managing spare parts inventory, coordinating contractors, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance & Reliability

• Plan and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize machine downtime.

• Maintain maintenance logs, equipment history records, and maintenance KPIs.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and propose corrective actions.

2. Preventive Maintenance Program

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules based on OEM recommendations and production needs.

• Monitor performance of maintenance plans and adjust based on actual equipment conditions and failures.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all maintenance activities.

3. Spare Parts & Asset Management

• Identify critical spare parts and manage inventory levels effectively.

• Maintain an updated asset list, equipment documentation.

• Liaise with vendors and suppliers for parts sourcing and service support.

4. Project & Improvement Work

• Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.

• Participate in plant layout changes, equipment upgrades, and productivity improvement projects.

• Lead cost-saving, energy efficiency, and reliability improvement initiatives.

5. IT hardware and software maintenance and troubleshoot

• Network like work with ISP for quote/setup

- PC(Laptop/Desktop)/Peripherals/Printer

• Telephone system manage like setup phone/extention for user

• Servers /ethernet cabling maintenance

• CCTV system management

• IT assets list check and update

• Support HQ/APAC IT for projects

• Support users other computer and software issue

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, plant engineering, or manufacturing operations.

• Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, sensors, and industrial controls (preferred).

- Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

- Familiar with TPM, CMMS, and reliability-centered maintenance principles.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.

• Others: Willingness to work on-call or during non-office hours for urgent maintenance support.

• Good command of English (verbal and written)
