Pricing Executive (Entry Level, Junior Staff)

Job level: Entry level, Junior staff

Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to support the Sales persons and operations.

Direct Report: Pricing Team Leader

Responsibilities:

• Receive quotation requests from Sales team or overseas agents.

• Contact carriers/co-loaders to obtain competitive rates and check suitable schedules.

• Analyze optimal transportation solutions based on price, transit time, and service conditions.

• Prepare and send quotations using the company template, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Succeed at heavy price and service negotiation with customers and carriers.

• Collaborate with your team on pricing decisions, supplier selection and timing.

• Maintain and update accurate information in the company's operating systems / customized reporting system.

• Responsible for cost accuracy, performs price analysis based on price competitiveness and timeliness from vendors/ suppliers to maximize profit.

• Coordinate with cross-functional departments and a.hartrodt network to obtain information and rates.

• Updates and maintains a library of documents and quotes for future business needs.

• Knowledge of Freight Management Systems (FAST, CW1) is preferable.

Working hour: Mon – Fri from 8:00 to 17:00, Sat: 8:00 - 12:00 (1 time / month)

Work Location: D&D Tower, 7th Floor, 458 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ward 2, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City

• University or College Degree, major in Transportation – Logistics or Foreign Trade is preferred.

• Experience related to pricing on freight forwarding, multi-modal and supply chain activities is an advantage. Fresher is also accepted.

• Good communication, negotiation skills.

• Excellent English skills.

• Comfortable dealing with numerical data.

• Detail-focus, self-motivating mindset.
