Pricing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle ocean freight pricing and procurement across all trades (Asia–US, Asia–Europe, Intra-Asia, etc.).

• Work directly with the General Manager on pricing strategies.

• Negotiate directly with carriers to obtain the most competitive spot and contract rates.

• Provide timely and accurate quotations to the sales team and customers.

• Maintain pricing databases, rate sheets, and ensure validity tracking.

• Communicate with overseas offices and agents for routed business and global RFQs.

• Support sales activities by following up with customers, managing incoming inquiries, and helping close deals.

• Stay up to date on market trends, GRI/PSS updates, space conditions, and carrier strategies.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing and/or procurement.

• Strong working knowledge of Transpacific trade pricing and rate structure is a must.

• Sales-oriented mindset with a customer-first attitude.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Familiar with major shipping line portals, rate tools, and internal pricing systems.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and organization skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Working Hours: 5.5 days/week

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 - 17:30 (including a 1-hour lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00)

• Saturday: 8:30 - 13:00
