Primary Head Teaching Assistant

1/ General Responsibilities: - To have overall responsibility for the Teaching Assistants in Primary campus - To oversee the orientation & on-the-job training for new Teaching Assistants - To advise on & contribute to general Teaching Assistants training - To have overall responsibility for coordinating Vietnamese celebrations - To provide advice on Teaching Assistant appraisal grades to Head of campus - To help to shortlist & sometimes interview new assistants - To run the after school Vietnamese language classes in conjunction with Head of Vietnamese Department. (Duties to include arranging teachers & rooms, organising testing as necessary & letters to parents) - Draw up overall rotas for Teaching Assistant duties - Collate overtime forms - Observe Foundation & Primary Lead Teaching Assistants teach Vietnamese Culture & give comments & targets on their performance review forms - As necessary, observe & give input into specialist Teaching Assistant & librarian performance reviews. - To sort out any Teaching Assistant problems that the Senior Teaching Assistants can’t solve, including any difficulties with teachers - To meet regularly with the Head of campus & Dep Head of campus to attend meetings as necessary with the schools administrators. To organise meetings with the Teaching Assistants to gain their opinions & to feedback information. - Other duties given by Head of Campus 2/ Benefit schedule - Working hour: from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4 pm - SI, HI, UI as regulation (10,5% on gross salary); medical insurance from Generali - Lunch Allowance 48,000đ/day - Club for sports and extra activities for Union Members - At least 20 days of annual leave during school holidays (in general 2 days in October, 5 days in December, 2 days in April, 12-15 days in July) + 3 personal leave

Skills required: • Vietnamese • University graduate • Experienced Teaching Assistant in International School is preferable • Competent English speaker • Can work as part of a team • Matured and committed manner. • Matured and committed manner.
