Principal System Architect (Artificial Intelligence)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Principal AI System Architect to lead our end-to-end AI strategy across both factory floor (OT/Industrial AI) and back-office (IT/Enterprise AI) operations. This hands-on leadership role combines strategic vision with deep technical execution. You will design the blueprint for our "AI Factory" and "Agentic AI" workflows, write production-grade code for core modules and integrations, and ensure secure, scalable, and interoperable AI solutions that deliver real business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End AI Architecture: Design secure, scalable AI solutions across data ingestion, model deployment, APIs, and enterprise integration in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.

• AI Platform Blueprint: Architect the enterprise AI platform, including AI Factory principles, shared RAG services, Agentic AI workflows (LangChain/LangGraph), and model management.

• Enterprise Integration: Integrate AI capabilities with ERP, MES, CRM using standard integration patterns (APIs, files, queues, streams).

• Hands-on Development: Act as a player-coach by writing production-grade code, building PoCs and reference architectures, and producing technical documentation.

• Hyper-Automation & Forecasting: Build IDP solutions for finance and logistics automation/ Design advanced demand forecasting models (Probabilistic, DeepAR, Transformer-based) & Implement neuro-symbolic AI for high-accuracy compliance and reconciliation

• Technical Leadership: Lead AI infrastructure and standards across GPU platforms (CUDA) and cloud-native stacks (Kubernetes, Databricks).

• Stakeholder Engagement: Advise engineering leaders and executives, clearly communicating AI architecture and business value.

• Risk & Compliance: Ensure secure, compliant AI solutions aligned with PDPA, GDPR, and enterprise security standards.

1. Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related majors.

2. Experience

• Experience: 5+ years in Technical/ Solution Architecture with strong focus on AI, HPC, or Big Data platforms.

• System Design: Proven expertise designing large-scale, distributed AI systems and end-to-end workflows.

• Hands-on Coding: Strong Python required; Java or C++/Rust for performance-critical components is a plus.

• Data & Streaming: Deep experience with Big Data, distributed systems, and real-time streaming (Kafka, Kinesis).

• Cloud & MLOps: Strong Cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and production MLOps (Kubernetes, MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Azure ML).

• AI Stack: Experience with GPU computing (CUDA), inference servers (Triton), time-series forecasting (Prophet, DeepAR, Transformers), IDP (NLP/CV), and AI orchestration (LangChain, LangGraph, Ray).

• Data Platforms: Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including vector databases for RAG.

• Communication: Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive stakeholders.

3. Knowledge

• Architecture: Strong expertise in enterprise integration patterns, microservices, API design (REST/gRPC), and secure system architecture.

• Data & AI: Deep understanding of data modeling, governance, MLOps, and AI design trade-offs (latency, accuracy, cost).

• Domain: Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and OT environments is a big plus.

• Business & Compliance: Solid grasp of risk management, cybersecurity, and data privacy (GDPR, PDPA).

• Mindset: Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation and scalable system design.
