Process Quality Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Process Quality Engineer for metal precision stamping to join our dynamic team at Laird Vietnam in Bac Ninh. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer complaints, audits, and queries related to product quality. You will lead initiatives for quality improvement and sustain actions deployed on the shop floor, ensuring that quality-related team KPIs are monitored and reported effectively.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

- Handle customer complaints, audits, and queries regarding quality.

- Lead quality improvement initiatives and sustain actions deployed on the shop floor; monitor and report on quality-related team KPIs.

- Support and conduct internal and external audits; manage audit results, actions, and ensure completion within agreed timeframes.

- Responsible for creating documentation that reports issues and errors related to the production process, with a focus on finding effective solutions.

- Monitor and report on quality-related team KPIs and maintain ongoing quality improvement actions deployed on the shop floor.

- Handle customer complaints and queries regarding quality, investigating issues to ensure conformance with customer requirements.

Education & Experience

Required:

1. Education Background: Graduated from university with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Degrees in Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical Engineering will also be considered.

2. Required Work Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Quality Engineer or a Quality Assurance position.

- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 is required; experience with QC08000 and IATF16949 is a plus.

- Knowledgeable of machining and stamping processes is required; experience with tooling, die equipment, and fabrication processes is an advantage.

- Familiarity with 8D methodologies, 5 Whys, statistical analysis, and the seven quality control (QC) tools.

3. Proficiency in English Communication: Good oral and written communication skills in English.

4. Other skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively as a team player, and capable of leading a team.
