Job Description
Experienced product developer with a background in furniture design for our R&D at Wendelbo SEA, Vietnam.
Wendelbo SEA is currently looking for a Product Developer to become part of our research and development team at our production facility in Vietnam. Wendelbo SEA is a subsidiary of Wendelbo Interiors A/S and produces high-end design furniture.
*** Your responsibilities will include:
- Effectively and efficiently plan, organize, lead, control and manage the research and development procedures together with the Product Development Manager
- Innovation and developing of new products within furniture and décor
- Receipt and facilitating new sample developments together with the Product Development Manager.
- Optimization of the use of resources and maintaining quality standards
- Coordination with external designers and development of new materials
- Creation and updating of Standard of Procedure (SOP) and Bill of Material (BOM) for designs
- Providing solutions to manufacturing issues within engineering scope to continually improve quality together with QA

Job Requirements
***We expect you to:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a design or technical discipline or to have similar experience
- Have proficient English skills, both in writing and verbally
- Have experience with technical drawings, both in understanding and in creating
- Have experience with CAD, 3D Max and Photoshop
- Have experience from and extensive knowledge of the furniture industry
- Have strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Are independent, highly motivated, pro-active and result oriented
- Have prior experience from a similar role in a furniture company
