Product Development Engineer

Electronics Product Development

• Lead the complete development of a new PCBA-based control product, including schematic design, PCB layout, firmware, and system integration.

• Implement wireless communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, BLE) for Ios /Android app connectivity.

• Build and test prototypes; conduct functional and environmental validation.

• Execute development independently, making critical design decisions.

• Ensure regulatory compliance and market suitability.

• Maintain technical documentation (BOMs, schematics, firmware specs, test reports).

• Support manufacturing teams for production scalability.

Document Control

• Manage benchmarking and product design documentation.

• Prepare and maintain Design Control documents, including:

• Technical specifications

• Engineering drawings

• BOMs and ERP setup (SAP)

• Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)

• Analyze and resolve design-related issues under 4M Continuous Improvement programs.

• Provide technical support across departments.

Project Management

• Develop and manage project plans.

• Ensure timely achievement of milestones.

• Verify compliance with product and market specifications.

• Support certification and regulatory approval processes.

• Coordinate with department heads for product introduction and modification.

Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in embedded electronics circuit design and testing.

• Skilled in C/C++, microcontroller platforms, and PCB design tools.

• Experience with wireless protocols and mobile app integration.

• Knowledge of IoT device design and standards.

• Familiarity with appliance safety standards (IEC60335, UL174) and EMC compliance.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in PCBA development for commercial products.

• Experience in home appliances or water heater industry is a plus.

• Proven ability to manage complex product design projects independently.

• Competency in project planning and execution.
