Product Engineer Outdoor (Furniture Industry)

** Position Overview: We are currently looking to recruit a Product Engineer Outdoor (Furniture Industry) to join our team in technical development to be responsible for, developing new products, to make sure products comply with customer requirements and market regulations.

Location: Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely Product development team on daily tasks and special assignments.

• Daily communication with suppliers and their quality in-charge on quality and compliance protocols.

• Teamwork with Business Developer on audit activities, suppliers and product development to ensure quality in order to have customer satisfaction.

• Team with Quality Control for inspection, product improvement and rework process for new products live in system.

1. Enforce and ensure the company as well as customer’s quality standards and protocols.

- Together with the PD, develop and ensure that all products are developed to be complained with customer and Unique Furniture in term of quality, customer and market standard.

- Works with PD to audit new factories, qualify and give feedback to strength and weakness in term of technical and quality perspective, compliance and standards.

- Ensure suppliers receive the latest technical documents including all required documentation and fully understand the instructions.

- Responsible for ensuring that all articles have full technical documents and upload all documents on the system timely.

2. Checking samples and preproduction sample / seal sample.

- Check and approve samples of new products (for customers) against agreed specifications from Sales and ensure they are manufactured in line with specified material quality, construction, workmanship and finishing.

- Perform sample inspection, generate sample report for sale review, and coordinate the sample shipment out with BS.

- Run in-house tests on the product before sending them to test labs.

- Follow up, check and coordinate all test lab report, assembly instruction, carton label, loading instruction are in order and submit to customer.

- Conduct final inspection confirmation for new articles with QC team.

- Follows with 1st inspection to ensure product is delivered in good quality.

- Check BOM, AI, LD, color swatches etc. in term of product quality and share this product package to QC team for following in inspection.

NICE TO HAVE

• Good English ability

• At least 5 years working experience in furniture engineering, furniture technical or furniture production management in an international company. Experience of outdoor products.

• To have background of making basic drawings: CAD, SolidWorks…

• Teamwork abilities, including capability in effective online communication with colleagues and suppliers.

Preferable location Quy Nhon, Bình Định Province.
