Product Manager - Embedded Finance

Role Purpose
Lead the design, development, and operation of embedded finance products within the FPT Shop ecosystem — including Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), customer credit lines, payment integrations, and customer experience enhancement.
This role combines product thinking, data analytics, and operational execution to turn product vision into tangible business value, contributing to FPT Shop’s financial ecosystem strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Vision
• Define the product vision, roadmap, and strategic objectives for embedded finance initiatives.
• Conduct market research, analyze customer insights, and benchmark competitors to identify growth opportunities.
• Translate business objectives into concrete product requirements and success metrics.
2. Product Development & Delivery
• Manage the full product lifecycle: concept → design → build → launch → optimize.
• Create and maintain BRD/PRD documentation for key features such as onboarding, credit approval, repayment, and loyalty upgrades.
• Collaborate with Tech, UX, and QA teams to transform requirements into features with seamless user journeys.
• Manage backlog, sprint priorities, and product releases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
3. Data-Driven Decision Making
• Partner with the Data team to analyze user behavior (purchase, repayment, loyalty, payment adoption).
• Develop and refine scoring, segmentation, and whitelist models to support risk-based credit decisions and targeted offers.
• Track key metrics: activation rate, utilization rate, delinquency rate, customer retention, and financial contribution.
• Propose actionable improvements based on data insights to optimize both performance and user experience.
4. Partner & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary liaison with banking and fintech partners.
• Coordinate technical integration, API specifications, SLA tracking, and data-sharing mechanisms.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to financial data privacy and risk standards.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders: Operations, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Retail teams to align execution.
5. Continuous Optimization
• Collect customer feedback to improve product usability and credit experience.
• Evaluate product profitability and recommend enhancements or retirement of underperforming features.
• Design A/B testing and campaigns to accelerate adoption and improve engagement metrics.
Yêu cầu công việc
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
Experience
• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Manager / Product Owner in fintech, payments, consumer finance, or digital banking.
• Strong understanding of consumer finance, digital payments, credit scoring, and embedded finance ecosystems.
• Proficient in data analysis (Excel, SQL, BI tools); familiar with UX flow design and system integration.
• Strategic and analytical mindset, excellent communication, strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience working with banking or fintech partners.
Languages
• Fluent Vietnamese and working-level English.
