Production Deputy Manager

JOB PURPOSE/ MỤC ĐÍCH CÔNG VIỆC

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the production departmentto ensure ef icient and cost-ef ective manufacturing of products. This role involves leading and motivating production teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards, optimizing production processes, and maintaining a safe working environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ TRÁCH NHIỆM CHÍNH

Production Planning and Execution:

- Develop and implement production schedules and plans to meet production targets and customer demand.

- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure on-time delivery.

- Allocate resources (labor, equipment, materials) ef ectively to maximizen productivity.

- Ensure ef icient flow of materials and products throughout the production process.

Team Leadership and Management:

- Supervise, train, and motivate production team members, including supervisors and operators.

- Set performance goals and expectations for the team and result evaluation .

- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Address employee issues and concerns in a timely and ef ective manner.

Quality Control and Assurance:

- Ensure that products are manufactured to meet established quality standards and

- specifications.

- Implement and enforce quality control procedures throughout the production process.

- Identify and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent

- recurrence.

- Monitor and analyze quality data to identify areas for improvement.

• Process Improvement and Efficiency:

- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance ef iciency, reduce

- costs, and minimize waste.

- Implement Lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies.

- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and technological advancements.

- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.

- Deploy 6S program in production to reduce wastes and shopfloor safety

Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure a safe working environment for all production employees.

- Enforce safety regulations and procedures.

- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and regulatory requirements.

Cost Management:

- Manage production costs within budget.

- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

- Monitor and analyze production costs and variances.

- Optimize material utilization and minimize scrap.

Maintenance and Equipment:

- Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure basic condition of machines/facilities is maintained through cleaning, inspection daily basic

Reporting and Communication:

- Prepare and present production reports to management, including production output,

efficiency, and quality metrics.

- Communicate ef ectively with other departments, such as planning, sales, and engineering.

- Keep management informed of any production issues or challenges

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, production management, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a production environment, preferably in a supervisory role.

- Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control principles.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.

- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principals

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS

• Educational requirements/ Học vấn:

- Bachelor in Engineering

• Years of professional experience/ Số năm kinh nghiệm chuyên môn:

- 2 years at least at the same role in MFG company

• Language skills/ Kỹ năng ngôn ngữ:

- English influence

- Furniture experience is referred

- To be able to travelling to another provinces
