Production Engineer

1. The purpose of this position is to assist and support production function of factory and related associated factors, including but not limited to, operators, equipment, vehicles, materials, process, etc. to provide a safe, efficient and cost-effective operation.

- Create, sustain and review PMP, process flow, work instruction, PFMEA, GR&R, machine trouble shooting (Out of Control Action Plan) and concerned documentations;

- Create and maintain all company quality documentations, such as, quality procedures, work instructions, data cards, staff roster, training profile etc. required by standard requirements;

- Quality improvement process by improving process of 8D, Quality built in concept, Line side review (process audit by following work instruction and critical points control) activity;

- Responsible for continual improvement activities such as, 5S, etc. and consolidate the progress of improvement program from other departments;

- Respond customer complaint and internal process issues with corrective action to improve quality standard;

- Lead cross functional team with Quality Section and Maintenance section to improve machine, equipment, material, operating procedure and yield to achieve operating cost;

- Support the organization goal in achieving total customer satisfaction;

2. Supervisor and adjust production equipment and process follow SOP and guidelines or where the solution is not always obvious.

- Training and education production team member about skills & SOP for workstations, major performance indicators of factory, production team and policies.

- Review Skill Matrix of production team member and advice training plan for organization development program.

- Remind production team member about workshop hygiene standard, EHS policies.

Working place: VGSI Gypsum, D3 Road, Phu My II Industrial Expansion, Tan Phuoc, Phu My, Ba Ria- Vung Tau

1) Working Experience:

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in Production Engineer in manufacturing companies

2) Education and Specialization:

+ Engineering Degree majored in Building materials, Chemical, Mechanical & engineering, Operation, or Other related fields

3) Other skill:

+ Process ISO systems;

+ Working knowledge of gypsum process and mechanical operations preferred;

+ Problem analysis and solving; risk assessment and reporting;

+ Be familiar with industrial management & control technological process;

+ Knowledge of LEAN and Six sigma, continuous improvement is desirable;

+ Computer: Skills for Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, AutoCAD

+ Language: Fluent in both verbal and written English
