Production Manager (Up to 30Tr)
Job description
I. PRODUCT INSPECTION AND MANAGEMENT
1 Make planning for daily production
2 Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
3 Supervising the whole production team so as to ensure compliance with all regulations at all times.
4 Liaise with other departments to figure our own tasks, find solution, execute to reach its goal
5 Ensure output meets quality standards
II. QUALITY CONTROL & REPORTING
6 Determining and reporting major causes of quality & Yield losses and non-conformities and the need for corrective action or training.
7 Routinely monitoring the overall Quality Management system within the production departments to ensure the primary on-line controls are working effectively, and that proper corrective action procedures in place are being taken.
8 Develop and update documents, procedures, processes, operational instructions related to production
9 Support in setting technical standards for goods, products as materials and final products
10 Analyzing data from production & quality records and instigating appropriate actions.
III. INVENTORY CONTROL
11 Determine and control amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
12 Plan procuring necessary tools and equipment
13 Control inventory (material, WIP, products)
14 Monitor facility conditions and plan maintenance work
IV. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
10 Ensures that all employees are trained in the tasks they perform.
11 Enforce health and safety precautions
12 Forming part of the HACCP Team, attending Management Reviews and meetings.
13 Estimate costs and prepare budgets
V. OTHER TASKS
14. Perform other tasks assigned by Production Executive Director.
Job requirements
Education:
- University degree in related fields or science, technology, food engineering.
Experience:
- At least 5 years or above, experience in meat processing (on-site), and at least 2 years or above, experience in management of meat processing.
Technical Skills
- Wide knowledge in management of factory activity (QC, yield, cost, inventory, HSE,)
- Understanding of methodology to ensure/ improve quality.
- Having knowledge in ISO.
- MS Office and ERP system
- Experience in environment monitoring (air, water, waste…) to meet the standards and requirements.
Soft Skills
- People management.
- Proven ability to manage and supervise multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and product management.
- English intermediate level or Japanese intermediate level (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
Special requirements
- Ability to work in the frozen environment.
- Honest, sense of responsibility, careful, leadership.
