Production Planner

Position Objective:

• Generate and maintain a production schedule based on production line capacity & Customer demand

• Create Master Production Plan based on manufacturing Capability and resources (reviewed with Production manager)

Position Scope :

• Draw up master production schedule to establish sequence of manufacturing to meet customer request date according to sales order/ customer forecasts/ Inventory turnover rate

Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule workflow for each Manufacturing Center according to capacity reviewed.

• Received customer orders from Customer Service and determine manufacturing finished date.

• Co-ordinate with the Materials Planning Section concerning raw material readiness and settle down material shortage just in case.

• Prepare and analyze weekly behind order and potential behind order in next coming week.

• Meeting with Manufacturing to get root cause of behind order and recovery plan.

• To follow daily and weekly production scheduling concurrence master plan.

• Coordinate immediately with production when problem of plan is occurs or potential problem is going to affected with customer delivery plan.

• Maintain production capability after reviewed with production in weekly and monthly basis.

• Monitoring component before issue production plan.

• To be a member to support new projects launch.

• Coordinate Engineering Change activity in the materials to foresee impact to production.

• Weekly Issue production work order in ERP system, then print Material request list (PDF) and released them to production

• Initiate production master plan for Manufacturing Center based on headcount plan.

• Coordinate and resolve supply/demand conflicts such as BOM routing issues and material issues.

• Maintain & Improve document to meet Company Standard requirement & good house keeping – 5S.

• Support production in headcount review

• Regular to provide Production Line Utilization Weekly Report.

• Confirm and released holiday overtime plan.

• Daily tracking finished goods stock on hand, compare with customer delivery plan and provide daily report to concerns function.

• Daily review output with production leader and revise production plan if necessary.

• Weekly review production line capacity with Manufacturing Center and plant manager.

• Minimum bachelor degree or equivalent (Preferably Business/ Supply chain management)

• Minimum 5 years experience in Production Control/ Material Control/ Supply Chain Management (Automotive/ Textile/ Consumer good is a plus)

• Knowledge & experience with Oracle systems.

• Excellent in Excel (VBA/ Power BI is a big plus)

• Knowledge of APQP

• Business knowledge

• Good communication skills

• English 4 skills

• Experienced in building new processes and plants
