Production Planning Staff (Material Plan)

Job Title: Production Planning Staff (Material plan) Department: Production Plan Report to: Production Planning Manager ABOUT THE POSITION: This position centers on ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the supply chain. As a material planner, you will analyze demand forecasts, calculate the order quantity of required components, and monitor inventory levels. Carefulness is vital to track material movements and generate reports. Logical thinking and flexibility are crucial to adapt the ordering and delivery of raw materials to changes in production schedules. Problem-solving and strong relationships are needed to resolve emerging issues such as vessel delays, NG materials, ... Ultimately, this position contributes to the organization's success by optimizing inventory levels and ensuring the timely availability of materials for production and customer demands. Essential functions and key responsibilities are: ● Analyzing customers’ PO and forecasts; determining the required materials and calculating materials purchase order quantity ● Scheduling and overseeing the delivery of materials to ensure timely production ● Monitoring purchase orders and expediting shipments to ensure on-time delivery of materials ● Handling emerging problems that affect the materials plan ● Tracking FG production volume and delivery status ● Making a report on FG production and delivery quantities ● Optimizing inventory levels

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Experience ● Supply chain management experience ● Purchasing management/materials planning/inventory management, or a related position experience ● Experience with MRP and SAP software Skills/personal qualifications ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office ● Strong organizational and time management skills. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ● Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS: ● A bachelor's degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field ● English language is preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
