Production Shift Leaders

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Production Shift Leader manages all shift production activities regarding cement grinding and packing to achieve production volume and dispatch targets without compromising Safety and Environment regulations.

Shift Operation Management:

Control CCR operations, ensuring strict adherence to operational instructions and troubleshooting procedures to optimize feed rates. Manage resources to maximize dispatch capacity and meet customer demand.

Safety Leadership:

Act as the Emergency Response Team Commander in case of incidents during the shift. Ensure all employees, contractors, and visitors comply with QEHS policies (Zero Harm).

Troubleshooting:

Execute effective troubleshooting for equipment breakdowns to restore operations quickly. Analyze root causes of problems related to quality, energy consumption, or failures.

Quality Control:

Closely control cement quality during the shift. Coordinate with maintenance to calibrate measurement equipment and monitoring devices.

Coordination:

Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure effective logistical activities. Consolidate and report daily plant activities in handover meetings.

Site Management:

Act as the Plant Manager to control all plant activities outside of administrative hours.

Team Development: Coach, transfer knowledge to the team, and follow up on multi-skill training programs.

Education: Diploma/Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

At least 03 years working in the Cement industry or Heavy industry.

At least 02 years working in a Supervisory position in Production.

Skills & Knowledge:

Proficient in English (TOEIC 500 or equivalent) to communicate fluently.

Computer literacy (MS Office) and knowledge of SAP.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Ability to adapt, learn, and lead a team effectively.

Willingness to work in shifts.
