Production Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Supervisor for Nefab Bac Ninh factory will be in responsible of Meeting customer delivery, Achieving Daily Production targets, Operator Allotment, Maximize Material utilization and Meet all Production KPI targets. In addition, this position will take full accountability of ensuring all Production area are maintained and safety procedures and policies are enforced, to ensure zero accidents and/or injuries and to follow all company regulations. This position will report to Production Manager of Nefab Vietnam.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Activities

• To control production activity base on delivery plan with high efficiency.

• To improve production process and production cost control.

• To ensure effective manpower/ Machine/ Equipment work with safety implement.

• To Control both soft files and hard copy documents to be updated throughout and systematically.

• To support Company activity.

• Create work instruction of each activity/process/products

• Analysis root cause and solve daily problem in production activity

• Able to control the operation all of Production machines and adjust the parameters to achieve the

required quality

• Responsible for material utilization as per company targets

• Report all activity of production section to production manager

• Training basic knowledge of production to new operators (OJT)

• Control production manpower, follow company regulation and Nefab code of conduct

Lean Initiatives/Continuous Improvement

• Map current flow and continuously evaluate and implement flow improvements with the Production Manager at the factory.

• Develop initiatives that will maximize product reliability and minimize costs.

• Develop and implement 5S across production area

• Generate and maintain a reporting system to track successes and improvements needed in this area

• Drives continuous improvement efforts, including but not limited to Kaizen events, 6-S events, 5s, Cost Reduction ideas, etc.

Facility Management

• Maintain and improve the factory facility

• Keep 5S at all the time

• Develop relationships to improve performance with operators

• Build positive working relationships within the Operator team

Work Environment

• Office working conditions are normal for an office environment.

• Plant working conditions include noise plus/minus 85 dB and some dust. Personal Protection Equipment is provided.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION : Education min: Bachelor’s degree in relate field

EXPERIENCE:

• This position requires a University level education and minimum 5 years’ experience in Production Management role in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 experience is seen as plus.

Experience in Automotive industry or related to packaging industry is seen as a major plus.

LANGUAGES : Vietnamese and English communication (both reading and writing)

• Document Control System (such as Master Control) experience is a plus

• ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 knowledge are preferable

• ERP experience is a plus

• Have experience with production planning.

• Experience in QC Story and LEAN is plus

• Have basic knowledge of Kaizen and 8 MUDA.

Working time: From Monday to Friday; 2 Saturdays/ month
