Production Supply Specialist and Planner (Knit - Finished Goods)

PURPOSE: As a Planner & Production Supply Specialist, you will ensure product availability by managing production planning and optimizing the value chain. You’ll work closely with suppliers, brands, and cross-functional teams to anticipate demand, secure production capacity, and continuously improve our supply process.

1. Tactical Planning:

• Prepare and secure supplier capacity aligned with the business plan for Y+3, Y+2 &Y+1.

• Collaborate with the Supplier Planner to build the macro production plan by product family.

• Communicate macro planning to brands and follow up with the local teams.

2. Operational Horizon:

• Anticipate brand demand and analyze potential risks (eg % Non-DMI, % elasticity, Top/Flop products).

• Lead the season preparation process with local teams: component teams, supply teams, and suppliers.

• Organize and lead retro planning meetings with suppliers and local teams to ensure alignment with the production plan.

3. Execution Management:

• Monitor demand variations and apply reaction rules accordingly.

• Manage and adjust capacity and production planning during the season (eg through gemba walks, Monthly Tactical Plan – MTP).

• Work closely with Zone Planner and Supplier Planner to optimize supplier panel capacity.

4. Supply Chain:

• Answer to sports needs by ensuring a reliable and timely supply.

• Pilot daily/weekly production planning and manage referencing and orders.

• Monitor and optimize production stock levels to avoid overstock or shortage.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the value chain and boost efficiency.

-Minimum 7 years of experience in the Textile industry, preferably in planning, production, or supply roles.

-Strong expertise in planning processes, with a strategic and operational mindset.

-Proven experience in supplier relationship management, including alignment, negotiation, and performance follow-up.

-Solid conflict management and risk mitigation capabilities, especially in fast-paced or uncertain environments.

-Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative mindset and confident decision-making ability.

-Detail-oriented with excellent analytical thinking and the ability to interpret data to drive actions.

-Experienced in project management and cross-functional collaboration.

-Able to work autonomously while engaging effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
