Production Training Manager

The Production Training Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs for production staff at VinFast’s Hai Phong facility. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in manufacturing processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement effective training programs tailored to the needs of production staff, ensuring alignment with operational goals and industry best practices

• Conduct thorough assessments of training needs through consultations with production managers, performance evaluations, and industry standards to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement

• Plan and execute projects to enhance Compliance - Discipline - Quality - Expertise within the Production Division

• Stay current with industry trends, advancements in manufacturing technology, and best practices to continuously improve training programs and methods

• Work closely with production managers, HR, and other departments to ensure training programs are integrated with overall business objectives and support career development opportunities for staff

• Ensure all training programs comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and adherence to quality standards throughout training initiatives

• Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program outcomes. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on training effectiveness and recommendations for improvements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in training and development is a plus

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing training or related roles, with a strong background in production processes, safety standards, and training methodologies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

• Strong organizational and project management abilities

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change

• Good command of English (4 skills)
