1. Role Purpose
The Program Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth coordination and implementation of all three components of the REACH Son La Project — vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and strengthening existing enterprises. The position supports the Team Leader in day-to-day operations, data management, partner coordination, and reporting, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance with donor requirements.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Project Coordination & Implementation
• Support the Team Leader in day-to-day coordination of project activities across all three components.
• Liaise with trainers, partners, and local authorities to ensure timely execution of training and enterprise activities.
• Monitor implementation progress and flag issues requiring timely resolution.
• Coordinate workshops, meetings, and community engagement events.
B. Monitoring, Evaluation, and MIS Management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data entry in the MIS system (Kobo/Google Sheets/REACH MIS).
• Upload reports, attendance, and evidence on schedule.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and donor reports using data analytics and visual summaries.
C. Trainee & Employer Engagement
• Follow up with trainees during and after training to monitor attendance, performance, and outcomes.
• Conduct post-placement tracking to document employment, self-employment, and enterprise performance.
• Engage with employers to identify job opportunities and gather feedback on graduate performance.
• Support organization of job fairs, placement drives, and alumni networking events.
D. Reporting, Documentation, and Communication Support
• Assist in writing project summaries, case studies, and short reports for internal use.
• Capture high-quality photos and short videos during key activities for communication and visibility.
• Maintain organized digital and physical records of all project documentation.
E. Logistics & Administrative Support
• Coordinate logistics for training and workshops (venue setup, transport, materials, refreshments).
• Support procurement and distribution of training materials, tools, and consumables.
• Assist in preparing administrative documentation related to project operations.
Yêu cầu công việc
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
• At least 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, community engagement, or data management.
• Experience working with vocational training, livelihood, or youth programs preferred.
• Familiarity with donor-funded projects or NGO work is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Basic data management and Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
• Good writing and documentation ability (Vietnamese; English is a plus).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Willing to travel within Son La province and nearby districts as required.
Working Conditions
• Base: Son La City, with travel to project districts and communes.
• Work Hours: Full-time
• Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Team Leader; works closely with trainers, employers, and the REACH Hanoi team.
