Project Engineer

Project Engineer Our company seeks a dedicated, professional, and trustworthy individual to assist with our project management activities. This person must be willing to work hard in managing our supply partners in assuring product quotations are received, negotiated, and delivered timely to clients. To assure project schedules are developed, and communicated effectively, along with the development of project reports that are communicated accurately for clients, and Sr. management.

Duties and Responsibilities: • To review client project requirements and communicate effectively with the client in assuring product requirements are understood, and executed. • Preparation and submission of project RFQ’s to our supply partners assuring our supply partners understand the project requirements to assure accurate quotations. • Following up supplier quotations, completing product cost/sell summaries for management approval, and submitting final quotations to the client. • Following up with clients on project quoted weekly. • Preparation and submission of project management reports to clients, and Sr. Management. • Communicate effectively with engineering, quality, and production teams in tracking product sample schedules. • Provide responsible communication, and support to suppliers, clients, engineering, quality, production, and Sr. management in the status of product submissions and qualifications. Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management and/or manufacturing coordination and engineering. • Proficient at using Microsoft Word, Excel and GAANT Charts to generate project reports & schedules. • Educated with the ability to read and understand part drawings, 3D models, materials, finishes, and general product requirements. • Basic understanding of manufacturing principles in plastic injection molding, castings, metal stamping, metal fabrication, machining, and extrusions • Disciplined, self-directed, task and detail oriented. • Good interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. • Proficient and timely communicator in written and spoken English. • Ability to work independently and faithfully.
