Project Manager/ R&D Furniture

The position of Project Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of customer project orders with strong enforcement to project management policy and procedures that support the company Vision. This position reports directly to Sr Project Manager. To accomplish goals the person in this position must be able to work well with cross functional Asian and US departments, including Design (CADs), PMO, Operations, Quality, Sourcing, PO & Logistics as well as administrative. The ability to make good decisions under pressure that may occur in numerous supplier factories and must make sure that all issues and decisions are clearly communicated to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY :

• Product Development (Sales Samples): following the sample from the CAD drawing until finished sample review.

• Product Costing: Support to do quick review new designs’ target cost, VE ideas for cost saving during sample development

• Production Control and On-Time Shipping: Pre-Production Sample and Review, Production Schedule and PRS participating

• Quality Control

• 5 -10 Years of related experience in Furniture, but minimum 5 years in NPD department

• Strong communication and international skills both written and verbal.

• Strong time management and prioritization skills

• Strong analytical and negotiating skills.

• Ability to interact with senior management both Asia and US.

• Experience in developing strategic partnerships with key suppliers.

• English can be work language.

• Heavy Multitasking Environment (Flexibility & Team Building Skills Essential).

• Ability to Hold Factory Owners Accountable & Steadfastly Uphold Company’s Objectives, Requirements and Business Conduct policies.

• Computer literate including MS Office, Access and CAD software.
