Prompt Engineer / AI Editor

Vietcetera is seeking a Prompt Engineer / AI Editor to design, refine, and operationalize AI-powered tools across vietcetera.com. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality prompts, training AI workflows, evaluating outputs, and collaborating with engineering and data teams to integrate AI capabilities into real products.

This role sits at the intersection of language, logic, and technology — ideal for someone who understands both editorial quality and the mechanics of LLMs. Your work will directly influence how Vietcetera uses AI for search, content intelligence, audience engagement, and internal productivity tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prompt Engineering & LLM Workflow Design

• Design, test, and refine prompts for tasks such as summarization, sentiment extraction, categorisation, Q&A, content mapping, and SEO enhancement.

• Build structured prompt chains and prompt templates for reusable workflows.

• Optimize prompts for accuracy, consistency, and reduced hallucination.

2. AI Tool Development for Vietcetera.com

• Collaborate with Product + Engineering to develop AI-powered features such as:

o AI search & semantic discovery

o Article Q&A widgets

o Content recommendation engines

o AI-driven metadata generation

o Internal content intelligence dashboard

• Evaluate LLM model outputs and ensure they meet editorial and brand standards.

3. Data Labeling & Content Intelligence

• Label datasets for training and fine-tuning (topics, tone, sentiment, entities).

• Map Vietcetera’s content into structured formats (taxonomy, categories, embeddings).

• Work with Data Analyst to ensure high-quality ground truth for model evaluation.

4. Quality Assurance & Iteration

• Run systematic A/B tests on prompts and workflows.

• Monitor AI outputs for errors, bias, or drift.

• Create evaluation rubrics for content quality and factual accuracy.

5. Documentation & Knowledge Systems

• Document prompt libraries, style rules, and workflow logic.

• Build internal guidelines for editors, product teams, and engineers when using AI tools.

• Maintain a versioned repository of prompts and model behaviors.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work with Editorial to ensure AI tools reflect Vietcetera’s tone, storytelling quality, and content standards.

• Work with Data & Engineering to align on data requirements, pipeline logic, and system capabilities.

• Partner with Product team to identify new AI opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience

• 1–3+ years in content operations, NLP/AI operations, product writing, editing, or a similar analytical role.

• Experience working with LLM tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) is a major advantage.

• Completing the Prompt Engineering Specialization course is a big plus.

Core Skills

• Strong command of English writing and editing with excellent clarity & logic.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering best practices (prompt patterns, evaluation methods, chain-of-thought frameworks).

• Ability to design structured workflows (prompt chains, decision trees, evaluation pipelines).

• Detail-oriented approach to reviewing AI output for accuracy & tone.

• Understanding of content metadata (taxonomy, tags, tone, entities).

Technical Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with No-Code or Low-Code platforms. (Zapier, n8n, or Make).

• Basic Python for evaluating prompts or running batch inference.

• Understanding of embeddings / vector search / semantic search.

• Experience with annotation tools or labeling workflows.

• Familiarity with APIs for LLM providers.

• Experience with SEO content structure.

Soft Competencies

• Highly analytical, curious, and comfortable experimenting with ambiguity.

• Strong communication skills — able to translate fuzzy editorial requirements into precise prompt logic.

• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
