Chief Accountant

Position: Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant is responsible for managing the financial health of Theme Park operations, providing strategic financial guidance, overseeing accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key responsibilities:

● Manage the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the theme park, including general operations, games, sports and F&B facilities.

● Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs);

● Monitor and control operating costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement efficiency improvements;

● Ensure proper cash flow management, including cash forecasting and treasury operations;

● Oversee financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements;

● Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making;

● Assist in overseeing inventory control procedures for leasing and merchandise operations;

● Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance;

● Conduct financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities and assess the financial impact of projects and initiatives.

● Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge:

Qualifications: College degree or higher in Business, Business Administration, Event Management, or related fields

Specialized knowledge:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and office equipment (including printers, copiers, and fax machines, …)

Knowledge of managing invoices, payments, and coordinating schedules

Experience:

3+ years of experience working in financial management, preferably in the entertainment, hospitality, or theme park industry

Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic financial planning
