Job Objectives

Ensure an efficient, accurate, and on-time Purchasing & Logistics process to support semiconductor-related projects. This role plays a key function in supporting engineering and project teams by securing all required materials and equipment on time and in full compliance with technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchasing – 50%:

o Source and evaluate suppliers for semiconductor equipment, cleanroom materials, mechanical parts, consumables, and technical components.

o Request and compare quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and prepare cost analysis for management.

o Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up closely with suppliers on production, quality, and on-time delivery.

o Work with engineering and project teams to understand specifications and ensure accurate ordering.

o Maintain and update vendor database, contracts, and price lists.

o Track inventory levels of parts, chemicals, and consumables to plan timely reorders.

• Logistics – 50%:

o Coordinate with forwarders to arrange shipment booking, pick-up, and delivery schedules.

o Review and verify import/export documents: Invoice, Packing List, AWB/BL, HS/HTS Codes, C/O, MSDS, COA.

o Monitor shipment status, update internal teams, and ensure alignment with project timelines.

o Support customs clearance processes for semiconductor-related shipments.

o Handle logistics issues such as delayed shipments, incorrect documentation, or special requirements for sensitive/high-value cargo.

o Collaborate with warehouse teams on receiving, inventory checks, and documentation.

• Education: College or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering. Candidates from other fields are acceptable if they have relevant experience.

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Purchasing, Logistics, or Supply Chain; experience in semiconductor/electronics/technical equipment is a plus

• Knowledge:

o Understanding of Incoterms, shipping procedures, and customs documentation.

o Ability to read technical specs and familiar with supply chain tracking tools.

o Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with supply chain tracking tools.

o Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.

• Communication: Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Language: Good English proficiency (email communication, documents reading).
