Purchasing Merchandiser

• Receives order confirmation from Purchasing Leader together with T&A and NC

• Checks all info with Purchasing Leader and confirm understanding

• Creates PO for fabric supplier and submits to Purchasing Leader for approval

• Sends Excel PO sent to supplier (including trims) after Purchasing Leader approval

• Updates online BOM with new style

• Check and confirm PI with fabric supplier

• Creates submission forms (checks with Purchasing Leader all info are correct)

• Requests l/d, s/o, bulk submissions from fabric supplier

• Gets bulk yardage for testing and PPS

• Follows consumption modifications during fitting process and must inform leader

• Organize fabric testing before fabric shipment (get approval from manager if fabric testing can not be done before shipment)

• Checks and daily updates online BOM

• Books final inspection with QC one week before fabric ETD

• Checks fabric inspection report and asks Purchasing Leader green light to ship

• Confirms fabric ETA with Production Merchandiser and updates in online T&A

• Checks invoice (price and quantity) and packing list before sending to shipping department in factory

• Handover invoice to logistics team for payment at due date

• Makes sure internal system is duly updated

• Good command of English spoken and written

• Bachelor’s degree in related field

• More than 3-years’ experience in garment industry as Merchandiser

• Attention to detail and organized

• Independent and hard working
