To execute purchasing strategies, processes, procedures, standards and policies for assigned commodities and suppliers, to ensure Vinfast efficient sourcing process and maintain continuity of the supply chain in terms of comercial aspect considering high quality, state of the art manufacturing technology, timing and competitive costs.
The role will source electronic component from selected suppliers, has to work cross functionally, manage supplier relations and improve their performance on a continuous base
Position Responsibilities:
• Support in development of purchasing strategy
• Develop part and supplier strategy
• Analyze costs and negotiate suppliers and contracts
• Process quotations
• Perform accurate and timely supplier selection and Bill of Material (BOM) maintenance.
• Achieve annual cost improvement
• Propose and conduct VAVE potentials as well as other cost reduction strategies
• Manage the commodity in the BOM to which the buyer is assiged by Commodity Leader
• Inquire, evaluate and select suppliers according to the approved supplier panel, specifications, quality expectations, and market competitiveness
• Effective supplier relationship management
• Research and monitor industry trends (sourcing, technology, market price)
• Evaluate and assess supplier’s quotations to ensure commercial, technical and quality requirements are achieved.
• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers and relevant internal departments, and stakeholders
• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Track and report savings
• Conduct other procurement related tasks as assigned
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
• 5 - 7 year experiences in electronic/electric component purchasing, engineering, supply chain management in an Automotive Manufacturing Industrial (Automotive maker or suppliers)
• Strong skills in negotiation, financial cost analysis, market analysis, continuous improvement, problem solving, time and project management
• Strong English language skills
• Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of materials management
• Proficient with Microsoft office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Experience in SAP system is an advantage
• Knowledge of contract law and Incoterms, international payment
• Ability to work globally, independently, and self-directed
• Ability to work in a fast paced start up environment
