QA/QC Officer

• Perform inline production checks and final AQL inspections on Packaging products (paper bags, paper boxes, fabric bags)

• Responsible for product quality monitoring and product risk assessment on new products.

• Address potential risks in product development stage, participated in Pre-production (PP) meetings.

• Manage quality issues and corrective/ preventive action with factories.

• Coordinate with internal and external parties for follow up and improvement issues

• Maintain awareness of industry regulations to ensure compliance of safety standards.

• Participate in quality inspection, audits and other quality-related projects

• Systematically maintain inspection records and product technical filing.

• Report Problems or concerns to Product Manager and Sourcing Manager

• Ad hoc duties as assigned by Sourcing Manager

Education and/or Work experience

• More than 3 years’ experience in paper and fabric Packaging

• Sound understanding of relevant production processes

• Knowledge of garment accessories (woven labels, paper hangtags, embroidery, heat transfers) is an advantage

• Knowledge of US/EU standard and regulation is an advantage

• Detailed minded, well-organized, strong sense of ethics

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to solve problems and work under pressure

• Proactive, capable of working independently and as part of a team

• Good command of written English

• Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office, Outlook and One Drive

Skills

• Proven project management skills.

• Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and reporting

• Strong communication skills in both Vietnamese and English, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
