QA Tester/ Engineer

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop engineering documentation that ensures compliance with QMS, ISO 9001:2015, and quality control standards, while validating alignment with industrial mechatronic product requirements.

Key Tasks:

• Ensure daily adherence to QMS procedures, assisting staff as needed. Collect performance data and generate reports related to assign tasks.

• Perform key quality-management activities, including process audits, handling customer complaints, managing Engineering Change Orders (ECO), IR (improvement report), participating in product design reviews, and supporting other quality-related processes as required.

• Generate test plans and test cases; and execute and follow up testing activities in accordance with the defined test plan and test cases.

• Perform testing and verification of prototypes based on internally released design documents to ensure product designs meet customer requirements. Follow up and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering all mechatronic aspects (product including firmware/software parts, mechanical parts and electronic board parts).

• Participate in the project team to track and address issues identified during testing, verification, or through customer feedback, ensuring all concerns are resolved and necessary improvements are implemented. Handover the validated final product design to project leaders for customer release.

• Working with testing equipment such as water flow stands and other specialized tools (Oscilloscope, DC Power Supply, Frequency generator,… )

• Perform additional related tasks as required.

Education

• Male with bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

• Additional coursework in electronic design, embedded systems, industrial design, and project management is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of two years of quality assurance experience, specifically applying ISO 9001 standards within engineering, product development, or manufacturing related to mechatronic product (Firmware/software, Mechanical and PCBA parts).

• At least one year of experience in test engineering, specializing in electronics, software, or mechanical systems.

Technical Knowledge

• General knowledge of manufacturing techniques and principles for electronic, software, and mechanical products.

• Solid understanding of QA laboratory testing, including test planning, test case development, and execution for mechatronic products (mechanical, electronic, firmware/software).

• Experience with QA test environments, including Jira, SVN, TestRail, or custom tracking tools like Excel.

• Knowledge of customer service principles, including needs assessment techniques, quality standards, alternative delivery systems, and customer satisfaction evaluations.

• Understanding product design verification testing methodologies for mechatronic systems.

• Expertise in test analysis, test reporting, deviation handling, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Six Sigma (preferred).

• Familiarity with industrial standards, including EtherCAT, Ethernet Conformance Test, PROFINET Conformance Test, and DeviceNet Conformance Test.

• Capabilities in Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing at third-party labs (such as Quatest) and certification processes for CE compliance.

• Experience with Python, LabVIEW, DAQ, and PLC programming is a plus.

• Implementation of ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements.
