QHSSE Manager (M1)

Purpose of job:

To successfully plan, direct, implement, and monitor the company's QHSSE policy, ensuring organizational compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental standards

Job Function:

• Developing and implementing QHSSE policies, systems, plans, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with the regulations of ADCo Company, Tipco Group, and Vietnam.

• Designing and delivering QHSSE training programs to employees while promoting a culture of safety and awareness throughout the organization.

• Conducting risk assessments and hazard identification and developing mitigation strategies to minimize occupational health and safety risks, workplace accidents, and environmental impact.

• Ensuring proper waste management and disposal of hazardous substances in compliance with environmental regulations.

• Liaising with regulatory agencies to maintain legal compliance and accreditation, including obtaining Environmental & Fire Fighting Permits for terminals.

• Ensuring firefighting equipment, systems, and documentation at terminals meet the requirements of relevant authorities.

• Leading audits and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of QHSSE management systems, addressing audit findings with corrective actions, and ensuring the organization meets regulatory requirements.

• Investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses, compiling detailed reports, and implementing corrective actions and lessons learned to prevent future occurrences.

• Tracking QHSSE performance indicators, analyzing data to identify trends, and presenting findings to management for strategic improvements.

• Coordinating with the Operations Manager to revise or create necessary SOPs for terminals.

• Implementing and renewing ISO certifications as required.

• Performing other tasks assigned by the Deputy Country Director.

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, occupational health & safety, safety management, industrial hygiene, or a related field.

• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certifications

• At least five years of experience in QHSSE roles, preferably in industries such as manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, or logistics.

• Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards.

• Understanding of QMS, 6S, and document system concepts.
