QS Engineer

- Check drawings in each design phase prepared by DAM team (Design & Approval Management) for Concept Design, Basic Design, Technical Design, Engineering Design;

- Take responsibility for quantity and cost estimation for construction projects;

- Make rough & initial estimation cost of new building projects based on unit price of other similar projects;

- Study and seek alternative materials with the same specification and standard to save construction cost;

- Conduct the cost appraisal, cost plan for feasibility study of new investment opportunities

- Precise estimation for new projects to support BD Dept. to calculate the feasibility study to decide whether to invest or not;

- Conduct cost analysis, reports and value engineering on BOQ / Cost provided;

- Propose a reasonable construction cost per m2 (CFA) to investors;

- Review & advise on the construction cost to support the Bidding procedure;

- Conduct the Value Engineering (VE) to optimize the construction cost to investors;

- Take responsibility for quantity take off or check and cost estimation for construction projects;

- Prepare the tender documents

- Prepare the contracts

- Prepare and keep track all the Projects Budget including Bidding Budget, Initial Budget;

- Ready to support the team when required

- Aligned budget strategy, policies, and processes across the construction projects.

- Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or any equivalent areas

- At least 6 years of experience in construction budget establishment & management, costing & bidding

- Proficient in English.

- Good skill of quantity take-off

- Good knowledge of Contractual

- Supporting for prepare the tender documents

- Preferred experience in Real Estate investment / development area. Having been through some phases / full of a project lifecycle

- Professional QS Certificate is preferable

- Working knowledge for type of contracts, construction contract terms and conditions, budget management, and procurement

- Working knowledge of Cost Appraisal and Cost Modeling for new projects.

- Good budget analysis/costing skills for various projects

- Knowledge of Legal, Finance, Bidding in real estate industry.

- High ownership to complete the assigned areas with limited guidance

- Good communication, active, teamwork skills, honesty in work

- Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, ...
