Quality & Compliance Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality & Compliance Specialist to ensure the quality and compliance of our labels, packaging, and trims for the textile industry. This role involves managing product inspections, compliance reporting, and driving continuous improvement in both quality and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and a passion for social and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Control

• Conduct pre-production sample approvals, pre-production meetings, and in-line inspections.

• Perform in-line and final product inspections to ensure conformance with customer quality standards and requirements.

• Apply AQL sampling standards for goods inspection.

• Inspect raw materials and report non-conformities promptly.

• Investigate production errors, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Coordinate with factories and the CS team to arrange inspection schedules.

• Provide technical advice and support on quality assurance matters, including corrective and preventive action plans.

• Perform quality control checks on high-value goods before dispatching customers.

• Compile weekly quality reports and submit them directly to the QA/QC Manager.

Compliance & Sustainability

• Take responsibility for CO₂e reporting and identify opportunities to reduce emissions in the office and production processes.

• Oversee environmental report.

• Manage local certifications and audits, ensuring compliance with global standards.

• Train and guide internal teams on social and environmental issues.

• Maintain strong collaboration and provide guidance to suppliers on social and environmental requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA/QC within the labels, packaging and trims for the textile industry.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).

• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify faults and recommend corrective measures.

• Willingness to travel to factories, suppliers, and subcontractors.
