Quality Assurance Manual Lead

The QA Manual Lead is responsible for leading and managing the QA manual testing team. This includes developing and executing manual testing strategies, designing and creating manual test cases, and mentoring and coaching junior QA testers. The QA Manual Lead must have a strong understanding of manual testing principles and practices, as well as experience with a variety of testing tools.

Responsibilities:

• Be a member of a Scrum team.

• Promote QA standards and best practices across Agile teams.

• Effectively collaborate and communicate and build rapport with team members and project stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot issues that team members are having with various tools and support systems.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment that support production and maintenance level changes.

• Work with Scrum teams to ensure higher quality test coverage throughout the development and UAT development life cycles.

• Champion agility and improvement in test processes and tools.

• Ability to create test coverage documentation and execution plan.

• Coach and support teams - Knowledge Transfer.

• Assist in the overseeing of various QA projects of an integrated nature.

• Advise and assist QA Manager on status, risks and their resolutions as they relate to testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience within the Quality Assurance specialty.

• 2-3 years’ experience as a Lead or as QA Manual Lead.

• Experience in working in agile environment.

• Expertise in the usage of bug tracking and Test management tools such as Jira.

• Experience of CI/CD platforms, focusing on technical artifact organization,

integration testing, and scripted deployment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Excellent project management skills, extreme attention to detail, ability to

multitask.

• Self-starter who can develop solutions to solve challenges.
