Quality Control Inspector (Entry Level)

Location: Primarily based in factories in Hai Phong and other Northern provinces

Reports To: QC Manager

Direct Reports: N/A

Role Objectives If you are a final year student or fresh graduate, a curious and fast learner, having passion with toys and eager to learn new things, this would be a great opportunity for you to explore the toy industry.

In the role of a QC Inspector, you will be trained to:

• Ensure product quality complies with legal safety requirement and reliability requirement

• Conduct lot inspection in factories on the finished product or WIP to ensure the shipped and producing products comply with required quality standards

• Work with factory on the corrective action plan and monitor the execution when necessary

Responsibilities:

• Understand Moose quality requirements on products with regular update of the product knowledge

• Perform lot inspection in factories per the respective shipping documents, inspection specifications, quality documents, customers’ requirements

• Understand the acceptable limit, aesthetic/ functional requirements of the inspected products

• Prepare electronic inspection report and send back the inspection result to the manager

• Monitor the corrective action plan and quality improvement in factories

• Draw and seal shipment/reference/test samples as required

• Attend meeting to understand the quality requirements of new items

• Support operation team in physical check of the excessive materials/scrap materials/WIP

• Report the production status of the visiting factories upon request

• Check in-line process control every week

• Take responsibility of needle control in factory every month

• Good verbal and written communication in English and Chinese

• Microsoft office knowledge, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Qualifications

• Final year student or fresh graduate, preferrably in Mechanical Engineer, Electrical/Electronic Engineer, Manufacture Engineer

• Good academic results

• Active participation in extra-curricular activities is a plus

Work Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm plus reasonable additional hours, with a one-hour lunch break
