Set up a good relationship between customer and Boyd, feedback any quality defect information to factory and take containment actions immediately. Lead factory to do corrective actions for customer complaint issues, cost reduction and continuous quality improvements. Work with sales to build solid relationship with customers and work with team to provide good quality and service to exceed customer expectations.
Defects confirm and analysis after receiving customer complaints or RMA information. Handle 8D and internal quality issue tracking system.
Highlight customer complaints to operation team and drive team to work out an action plan to solve problems and monitor the action result.
New products evaluation and quality standard defining with related departments and customer.
Provide coaching for inspectors.
Review and evaluate artwork documents. Make sure the content is suitable for our internal process.
Handle raw material quality issues. Work with supplier for
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical /or an equivalent combination of training, certification(s) and experience.
Familiar with quality control tools.
Strong ISO9001, ISO 1400 quality system mgt knowledge and practice
Minimum 3 years solid experience in quality.
Knowledge of Tape product for electronic components is an added advantage
Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
Must be a self-starter, accountable and innovative.
Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
Good English communication.
Strong technical proficiency in mechanical product knowledge.
Strong computer skills including MS Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Access.
Being patient and can work under pressure.
