Job Description
• Quality Engineer is a member of the Management Team of ECS VN and looks after the interests of ECS VN and specifically the QA department;
• Supports the Quality Manager of ECS NL concerning all issues related to QMS and product-quality.
• Creating more “awareness” for the colleagues of the importance of working according the QMS so the customer satisfaction will be met more and more in the future (is difficult to measure).
• Organizes the Management Review(s);
• Makes management-reports, if required, both for ECS VN as well as for ECS NL;
• Organizes the internal audit-planning and carry out the internal audits together with other internal auditors;
• Co-ordinates the activities that has to be done within his / her own area of work so that the established requirements regarding to the QMS are fulfilled;
• Point out ( internal ) problems of organizational and/or operational kind which can have an influence on the performing of the QMS;
• Point out deviations which can endanger the quality of the products as well as taking the corrective and/or preventive actions on time;
• Makes sure work is done in accordance to the quality standards;
• Provides training advice to co-workers;
• If necessary and in the interest of the company he / she will carry out all other activities that can be done within all reason;
• Monitoring the customer satisfaction and the progress in solving customer-, and if applicable, supplier-complaints;
• Calibration weighing instruments

Job Requirements
• Higher education - and thinking level;
• Have experience in ISO TS 16949
• Preferably good knowledge of cable confection in the automotive industry;
• Analytical - and problem solving competences ;
• Broad experience in coaching co-workers within a Quality department;
• Broad experience in coaching co-workers within other departments;
• Closely and exact in introduction, maintaining and control of quality rules / guidelines;
• Knowledge of and experience with relevant quality systems;
• Excellent communication skills;
• MS-office skills;
• Have experience in ISO TS 16949
