Quantitative Analyst (Researcher)

• Data Collection & Analysis

Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from diverse projects, with a focus on business environments and practices in Asia Pacific countries.

• System Design & Implementation

Develop and maintain data collection systems using ODK (Open Data Kit), ensuring efficiency and reliability.

• Quality Assurance

Perform daily data quality checks and assessments to maintain accuracy and integrity across all datasets.

• Reporting & Visualization

Create clear and compelling reports, visualizations, and communication materials (e.g., fact sheets, performance summaries, brochures) to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Stakeholder Coordination

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including subcontractors, to ensure timely data delivery and uphold quality standards.

• Technical Support

Provide help desk support and troubleshoot issues related to MKE data control scripts and ODK systems.

• Master Degree (preferable) or Bachelor Degree in either Research or Economics or Social Studies from a recognized University in Vietnam or overseas

• Capable in conducting quantitative research (employing international standard research methodology) by statistical software (R, STATA, Python). Having previous experience in working with large database.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in data analysis within the humanitarian or development sector

• Familiar with data collection system (ODK based system, Survey Solutions, SurveyCTO, Kobo Toolbox) At least two years relevant working experience

• Critical thinking and system learning skill is a plus

• Good Proficient with communication in English (English fluency equivalent to IELTS 6.5).

• Pro-active and highly responsible.

• Well organized and positive attitude.

• Have a strong team-sprit

Preferred:

• Previous experience in working in development sector

• Good at statistical software such as Stata and/or SPSS

• Experience in programming such as R, Python, Kobo etc.
