R&D Engineer (Coordinator)

Atlas Industries works on projects from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, North America, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore, in fields such as Aviation, Education, Industrial, Retail, Residential, Healthcare, etc. • Line Management under the Digital director, reporting on weekly activities. • Train in digital software or topics and have ability to train project teams where necessary. • Responsible for the implementation and reporting of digital training for all project delivery staff. • Provide technical advice/input/solution. • Plan & create priorities for the development of Atlas tools under the instruction of the Digital Director. • Support the implementation of the strategic roadmap across the company, which includes topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins, company efficiency, automation, and audits. • Support R&D team to deliver new custom applications to augment the effective use of BIM software for the different teams of the company. Regularly update, maintain, and document those applications. • Lead the creation and maintenance of automated BIM solutions for 3D models & 2D drawings. • In coordination with the Line Manager, work collaboratively with Junior team members to complete projects, including task assignments, and ensure their accurate and timely execution. • Provide technical support to the team, and collaborate in workshops with the different departments. • Collaborate in R&D projects, such as 3DVR/AR, generative design, AI, etc. • Document the developed software solutions in an organized and sustainable manner. • Attend R&D meetings and workshops. • Support the team for other Digital activities when requested.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering. • Experienced in digital tool development for project delivery; Dynamo, Grasshopper, others. Capable of developing Atlas in-house tools and for clients. • Experience in the utilization of AI proprietary technology such as LLM systems, AI generative design, or AI documentation software for Architecture and Engineering (as an advantage). • Experience in the development of customized AI tools (as an advantage). • Specific knowledge about design and documentation. • Experienced in multiple BIM Authoring Platforms – Revit, ArchiCAD, Tekla. • Experienced in Automation plug-ins & Platforms – Dynamo, Grasshopper, pyRevit, etc. • Advanced experience in Revit, other BIM Authoring Platforms are an advantage (ArchiCAD, AllPlan, Bentley OpenBuildings, Tekla). • Advanced level of English communication skills in speaking, listening, writing & reading.
