R&D Supervisor / R&D Manager (Beverage)

The R&D supervisor is responsible for leading the development and innovation of new beverage products. This includes overseeing all aspects of the product development lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to product testing, scale-up, and launch. The R&D Supervisor works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful commercialization of new and improved beverage offerings.
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the company's beverage product pipeline, aligned with overall business objectives
- Manage and direct a team of R&D scientists, food technologists, and product developers
- Identify and evaluate new product ideas and concepts based on consumer insights, market trends, and technical feasibility
- Lead the product development process, including formula development, prototype creation, sensory evaluation, and scale-up
- Collaborate with quality assurance, operations, marketing, and other departments to ensure smooth product launches
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product development
- Manage research and development budgets and timelines to maximize efficiency and return on investment
- Document and maintain thorough records of product formulations, processes, and test results
- Provide technical expertise and support to sales, marketing, and other business functions as needed
Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor's degree in food science, chemical engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in research and development in beverage industry
- Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and launching new products
- Strong technical skills in areas such as food chemistry, formulation, and process development
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
- Passion for innovation and a deep understanding of consumer preferences and market trends
