Reporting Manager (Finance)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Reporting Manager to play a pivotal role in bridging the Accounting and Finance functions. This role ensures that financial data flows seamlessly from accounting records into actionable business insights, enabling strategic financial decisions, accurate performance tracking, and readiness for audits, fundraising, and IPO.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in accounting, excellent reporting and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. This role is a cornerstone of financial transparency and governance within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Governance

• Own the preparation of internal and external financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

• Bridge gaps between Accounting and FP&A by translating accounting data into management insights.

• Oversee the monthly closing calendar and work closely with accounting to continuously improve the accuracy of accounting team’s output reports

• Ensure alignment between statutory financial and internal management reports.

• Collaborate with FP&A and FBP teams to align financial reporting structure with business needs.

Internal Controls & Audit Support

• Support internal and external Financial Statements and Tax audit

• Ensure financial controls are in place and adhered to; propose improvements where needed.

• Support IPO readiness efforts by enhancing reporting infrastructure and documentation quality.

System, Process & Data Integrity

• Support ERP integration. Lead or support financial system enhancements and process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce errors.

• Build and maintain reporting templates and databases that improve the team’s ability to analyze performance and variances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is strongly preferred.

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, controllership, or audit.

• Background in Big 4 accounting firms or multinational companies is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Power Query).

Skills & Attributes

• Deep understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (IFRS and VAS).

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate across Accounting, Finance, and cross-functional teams.

• High integrity, ownership, and professionalism.

• Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
